Guys Who Grill

Local teams grilling for a cause, uniting against homelessness and domestic violence.

The 3rd Annual Guys Who Grill is a grilling competition with a sizzling showdown where barbecue enthusiasts showcase their skills in cooking up mouthwatering dishes. Each grill team will provide an appetizer size portion of grilled or smoked item using various techniques and secret recipes (FULL DETAILS BELOW). We will have a variety of items including smoked appetizers, meats, sandwiches, veggies and even dessert! Each ticket holder will get a punch card and will get to try each Grill Team entry and then get to vote for their People’s Choice Award.

Event starts at 11:30am and goes to 1:30pm with Judges Choice Award at 1:00pm. Enjoy the event at your own pace between those hours and tours will be given of the St. Katharine Drexel Shelter throughout the day. All proceeds go to support the mission of St. Katharine Drexel Shelter

FOOD/TEAM DETAILS:

1. Big Foot Construction Custom Cabinetry- Smoked Brisket grilled Cheese Sandwich & grilled angel food cake with strawberry sauce
2. Silica- Sweet Heat Chicken Sliders. Steak Bites w/Garlic Butter, BBQ Sausage Burnt Ends Bites
3. Fond du Lac Police Dept. – Slaw & order: Undercover teriyaki Steak Bites- You have the right to great flavor. Juicy, grilled Steak Bites in a sweet soy, garlic, and marinade served over fresh Asian Slaw- Bringing sweet heat and crunch to the scene. Case closed… No warrant needed
4. Meat Sweats- Over the top Chili, Smoked Cornbread
5. St. Vincent DePaul- Breakfast Brats- Diced & Grilled Brats mixed with scrambled eggs and Veggies
6. SKDS Shelter- Chicken & Beef Kababs
7. Solutions Center- Brats and Burgers
8. Mr. & Mrs. Catering – Shredded Beef
9.  Sweet Pee’s Sweets- Smoked chocolate chip cheesecake bars

TICKET COST:

• $30 Ticket – Adult (available until 5/16/26)
• $35 At The Gate – Adult (if not sold out)
• $15 Child (5-12) – FREE for children 0-4

OVERVIEW OF THE EVENT: 

• Grilling Competition: Attendees will vote for their favorite team to determine the People’s Choice Award. As judges, you will score the teams to select the Judges’ Choice Award winner.
• Raffle Baskets: Bidding opens one week prior to the event and closes the day of, so participants do not need to be present to win.
• Fire Up the Fun – Grill Masters Key: Guests can purchase keys for a chance to win a large prize package.
• Kids Corner: We’ll have activities available to keep kids engaged and having fun throughout the event.
• Event Coverage: We’ll be going live on social media before and during the event, and photographers will be on-site capturing the day.
